Veterans Anger Management

Designed to help individuals control their anger and express it in healthier ways. It often involves recognizing triggers, developing coping strategies, and improving communication skills to prevent anger from negatively impacting relationships and health.

Kairos Prison Ministry International

Through the work of over 30,000 volunteers, Kairos Prison Ministry brings the light, love and friendship of Jesus Christ into the lives of prisoners and their families. They learn they are forgiven, and they learn they are loved. It is truly a life changing, and often life saving experience.

Bridges to Life

“The mission of Bridges To Life is to connect communities to prisons to reduce the recidivism rate (particularly that of violent crimes), reduce the number of crime victims, and enhance public safety.

The spiritual mission of Bridges To Life is to minister to victims and offenders in an effort to show them the transforming power of God’s love and forgiveness.”

There are many ways to show the love of Christ through a prison ministry. From Donating your time to baking cookies, we can help you with the details

It all depends on the specific prison rules. There are different roles for both men and women to serve in no matter the ministry.

Typically,  services and small groups are in the mulipurpose area. You will not go into the general population areas. The inmates who attend our services are generally excited to be there and participate in the program.

When teams arrive at the prison, they empty their pockets, remove their shoes, and  all belongings will be thoroughly searched or scaned. Then, they walk through a metal detector, are scanned by an officer, and are patted down by an officer of their same gender.

Depending on the specific type of ministry program there are different regulations that must be met. All volunteers must have training through TDCJ
